ABOUT THE PRACTICE FACILITY
Be sure to visit our practice facility just before you play and consider allowing a little extra time to warm up before you take on our beautiful course.
Thanks to the exciting challenges put into place by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. – you will want your drives to be strong and accurate. You will be faced with several uphill fairways that will challenge you on the tee box. So be sure to start out at our driving range to practice those wedge shots and work your way up through the clubs in your bag for about 15 minutes.
We have 25 stations for golfers on our driving range that include target greens to improve your aim. Finish your range session by “playing” the first few holes by imagining the first fairway and hitting a drive; then pretend you’re hitting your approach shot to the first green, and so forth. You’ll want to work on chipping and your sand shots at our separate green set aside for short-game work.
We also have a putting surface where you can get the feel of our greens before your arrive at your very first hole.

DRIVING RANGE + PUTTING GREEN
The driving range at The Ridge is a great place to practice or warm up before your round. We offer hitting on mats Monday to Friday and the grass tee Saturday and Sundays, weather permitting.
Range ball cost: $6 per token and each token is 34 balls. we also offer $50 and $100 Range Cards and a yearly program, all you can hit for $1000 per year.
The Ridge offers two practice putting greens that resemble the greens on the course to give you a great warm up session before you play. Their undulations and speed will give you a realistic feel of the greens to prepare you for a great game. Additionally, we allow chipping on our greens, please just repair any ball marks.
The greens possess a creeping bent grass surface – one of the best putting surfaces in the game of golf. They are smooth and true and will challenge any putting stroke.
Our putting greens are open daily from sunrise to sunset and there is no charge for using them.

Last ball will be struck 30 mins after the ball machine closes.
*Sundays' the Driving Range will close early due to a clean pick
